Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park

In May 2018, we took our 7 month old out west to see Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. I put together this video of our memorable time out west. Enjoy!

  1. Nice video, John. My wife and I are flying out to Jackson Hole for 5 days in Oct, exploring GT and YP with a local guide who specializes in wildlife and geology. We have never been there and are looking forward to it. Your baby is a cutie!

I have been unable to do any whitewater paddling this summer because the chemotherapy I have been on has been so harsh and debilitating. I finally told my oncologist that I had enough in mid August and he gave me a three month break. I am feeling better already and have started paddling flatwater again. Hope you are getting out in a canoe some. RVa has some great places to paddle.

    • Dodge,

So good to hear from you. I am glad that you are getting a three month break from treatment. I can’t imagine what it must feel like while on treatment, but I am glad you are able to heal in the outdoors and paddling once again. Time passes so fast, I cannot believe it but the entire has passed and I did not get on the canoe once! Work has been real busy as with our newborn. He more than makes up for it. I am super jealous of your trip to the west. I hear fall is the prime time to go out there. I’m sure it’ll be spectacular. I hope you are feeling better and wish you all the best. Have a blast out west Dodge.

      Cheers,
      John Le

  2. Oh my! There may have been some stunning scenery in the background but frankly I missed it because my heart was melted by that beautiful little boy… He totally stole the show. This is now my new favorite or your many wonderful videos. All the best my friend.
