I was originally born and raised in North York, Ontario. I now live in Virginia as a physician and surgeon (ophthalmologist and internal medicine). I created this blog to document trips through videos and photos and I hope to provide some kind of useful information in these entries. I hope they also inspire you to get outside.

Shoot me a line:
thanks for stopping by my page.. looking forward to exploring yours! jt

I can’t believe I haven’t come across your blog yet! I was researching St. Mary’s Wilderness and found it and I’m glad I did, you have a great page. Definitely going to keep following you. I’m also a fellow Richmonder so maybe I’ll see you out on the trails one day. Cheers!

For some reason I can’t comment on the “Building a Wannigan” post, but I just bought my dog a collar on a road trip to Telluride and knew there was something familiar about the pattern. The post you wrote about the wannigan has stuck with me I knew there was something pulling me about the collar. Sure enough, it’s the Hudson Bay company colors. I would never have known the significance without your post about it, so cheers. Super cool.
