One of my favorite shots while on our 10 day road trip through the Utah Mighty Five. This was shot with the Sony FDR X3000 action cam. It was the only lens that was wide enough to capture the whole scene.

Cornfield Dash
I was able to catch this shot of our toddler re-enacting a scene from Forest Gump. Running through a corn field in Gloucester County, Virginia on a beautiful 75 F degree summer day. Shot on Sony a6000 with kit lens.
Yale University – New Haven, Connecticut
A summer road trip through New England took us through New Haven, Connecticut where we had the opportunity to tour the campus grounds at Yale University. The stunning collegiate gothic style architecture has got to be one of the most beautiful in the country.
An early snow
December 9, 2018 – We were hit with an early and unexpected snowstorm, accumulating over 13 inches in Richmond, Virginia. This is certainly an early start to the snow season for us and much heavier than in the past. After a review of the Richmond weather records dating back to 1897, the heaviest snow that occurred earlier than Dec 10 was 7.3 inches on Nov 6-7, 1953. The record for December snowstorm for Richmond was 17.2 inches on Dec 22-23, 1908. Stay safe out there.
A lagoon in Patagonia
A lonely lagoon in Patagonia. I was always amazed at how much tide these small bodies of water harnessed. It seemed like the winds at the southern tip of the planet were always howling… it made you feel like you really were at the ends of the world. A beautiful and powerful place. I took this photo back in 2016 in Torres Del Paine National Park – Patagonia (Chilean side).
Patagonian horses
I’ve always liked this photo for some reason. Even though the framing of the shot is not perfect, I still like the landscape painted by the different colors of horses. I took this photo back in 2016 in Patagonia (Chilean side). I noticed that the horse manes are cut to different lengths. I speculate that this has to do with the level to which the horses are tamed? Not sure…
